Our first convention panel was a resounding success. (at least we think so, if other wise please lie) (Yay it went well!)
We just finished presenting a panel on how to make animatronic cosplay wings for the 2016 Nightmare Nights MLP convention in Dallas Texas. We had a great time and learn a few things along the way. Probably the most important thing that I learned was that it is apparently an industry standard for convention video projectors to only have a VGA cable option for the presenter to connect to. (WOW, I haven't seen that since the 80's) (Could you say that in English?) And of course my computers don't have a VGA port. (Duh!) Fortunately for me the fabulous A/V people at Nightmare Nights were able to find me a long HDMI cable that I could use to drape across tables to connect my laptop to the projector and all was saved. (They are god, they know all and can do all) Next time I will have a HDMI to VGA converter in my bag. (Amazon, $9 bucks)
Our panel was all about the process and the journey we went through to make our first set of animatronic cosplay wings for a Nightmare Moon costume. I believe the panel went very well even if at first I thought we would only have 3 or 4 people in the audience ( we did have a full house before we finished). (I couldn't help but do a fist pump) With The Mistress of Snark and Lilly Ruffles right beside me the panel ended up being entertaining as well as informative, they don't miss an opportunity to point out the humorous twists that life and cosplay prop building can take. (No shit!! Dick Tracey) (You can count on us) I'm not sure if anyone will end up building wings the same way that we did, but I think that we gave out enough information on how we did it that some people will be inspired to make there own set of wings. (Good Luck!!!) (Send pictures if you do!)

Hi everyone, long time no see. It truly has been a while since I have been to a My Little Pony convention and I am happy to say that I will be attending Nightmare Nights. Along with me will be the return of Nightmare Moon and the debut of Snowdrop. Snowdrop has been and continues to be a fun project to work on. Because of the concept and design there is lots of love and work on it as well as time. All Three Dragons have been taking some pictures along the way to share with you. Wish to know more about the Snowdrop project? Click here
Lets do this!
The Dragons Nest 3 Studios will not be attending any conventions the rest of the year 2015. We have discussed and decided that instead we will be working on many projects and cosplays all at once. We hope to see you all at conventions in 2016, but if you wish to know the new cosplays and projects we will be working on please check our Facebook, twitter, and website for updates. Lilly Ruffles will be happily listing one by one all the cosplays and Lolita outfits lined up to be made.

Late Night Projects are fun, and tend to fold over into the next day. This week you have a crazy fun book bag that will be joining me to college as well as a pouch to keep small things from roaming.
Photos are now up from our trip to Fiesta Equestria, which even thought we had fun there we are glad to be home and unpacked. You can find the photos posted here as well as our Facebook. Feel free to take a look and if you want to be the first updated on when we add something new Follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
